MORE THAN 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ELEPHANTS

Kok Chang safari as known as the first elephant camp in Karon area. We have experiences in take care of elephants more than 20 years. We learn to live together with elephants and treat elephants like one member of our family. We take care elephant with love, close relation and good feeling.

Most of people know we are elephant safari, but a few know what we are. What we are ? A lot of people will think we are only tourist attraction. It’s a little bit true, because We are housed of elephants under the best nature and environment.

We are elephant care center. We have medicine center and professional in taking care of elephants in our safari. We call professional in take care of elephant is “Mahout”. Every elephants have their (one elephant one mahout), because elephants would be taken care of more thoroughly. Most of our Mahout has mindset to take care elephant is passed from generation to generation (He is professional in taking care of elephants since his ancestor), because in the most part, people living there have close relationship with elephants.

They know how to take care of elephants and how to cure when the elephant was sick. Elephants in Kok Chang safari have to annual health check-up twice per year for ensuring that elephant always healthy.

For that reason, we are confident and ensure you that Kok Chang safari is not the only tourist attraction, but we are Elephant Sanctuary.
